Dear Country Music Lovers,
The Marton Country Music Festival will be held at Wilson Park Marton on the
16-17-18 January 2009.
Invitation- We invite all club members and members of the general public to join us, and help towards the fun and success of this festival.
Stalls:- We also invite anyone wishing to hold a stall at the festival to fill in the appropriate form to register their stall. The cost per stall for the weekend is $30
Powersites:- There are limited power sites for campers, but plenty of non-powered sites. Although there are plenty of camp sites available it would be wise to book as soon as possible, using the appropriate form. The cost for powered sites is $15-00 for the weekend and non-powered sites are free.
Parking:- There is NO charge for car parking.
Artists to Register:- To ensure the smooth running of the festival all artists are required to register at the registration tent, and provide 4 chord charts.
Musicians:-All sound equipment will be on site, so just bring your instruments, and register at the registration tent.
FOOD:-The huge food marquee will be on site again this year
CD Sales:- All artists are welcome to sell their CDs.
Acoustic busker's competition to be held on Friday during the day in the main street of Marton from 10am to 2pm. To enter this competition, fill out the appropriate form, and send it in.
You will be issued with your competitor's number. It is the responsibilkity of all buskers to obtain permission from the show owners before they set up outside any business premises.
Cash Prizes will be presented on Friday night at the festibval and the winners will be invited on to the "invited artists' section" of Saturday afternoon.
